The Ecstatic: Live with Mos Def

By TheFreshMan (LA) | January 27, 2010 | Music

MosDef

Garden Grown Entertainment presents The Ecstatic: Live featuring the Mighty Mos Def. He will be performing live at the Key Club on Sunset Blvd. on Jan 28th at 9 p.m. If you don’t know, Mos Def is one of the illest emcees to bless the mic. Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, his music has heads nodding around the globe. In the late 90’s Mos Def teamed up with Talib Kweli to produce one of the greatest underground hip hop albums of all time. Even though Black Star wasn’t a huge commercial success, the underground hip hop community still praises it to this day. We’ve also seen him on the big screen in such films as “16 Blocks” and “Brown Sugar.” There’s much more to say about his music and his overall talent, but if you’ve haven’t had the pleasure of seeing him live, check this show out. Tickets are available at the door for $35 or online at WantTickets.com. Keep it fresh
